Grooming Policies
We are a small, 2 person shop (Just us owners- Steph & Ronell), we operate on a one-to-one basis and we book by appointment only. We do not take walk-ins. We strive everyday, every appointment to provide a low stress environment in order for your pup, the owner, and the groomer to have the best experience possible. The enforcement of our policies gives us the best opportunity for us to reach our goals. Please also note that while we appreciate your amazing recommendations to others we are currently permanently booked and unable to take new clients at this time.
Making Appointments- once we have offered an appointment via text we will hold that appointment for 24 hours only! We will do a reminder text the day before your appointment. We highly recommend signing up for auto rebook appointments to keep a spot on our calendar.
Each client is booked a time slot based on many factors for their service. Late drop off, late pick up or last minute health information about your dog infringes on other clients appointments for the day and can cause delays and overlap.
Health of Pet Notice- we have the right to contact your vet at any time. Medical information that is pertinent to their grooming session must be brought to our attention PRIOR to their grooming appointment which includes but not limited to: severe matting, behavior issues, warts, bumps, lumps, allergies, sores, surgeries, arthritis, hip dysplasia, seizures, open wounds, limping, ear infections, heat cycle, anal gland issues, *skunked, or has *fleas. Depending on the circumstances, special accommodations may need to be put in place requiring more time therefore telling us the day of your appointment may require us to reschedule for a better time slot. Examples of accommodations can include but not limited to: two handlers to be available, scheduled breaks, air dry, change of process of how we complete the groom, extra time to avoid certain areas, applying medicated shampoos, working through a matted coat whether shaving or demat safely. Each accommodation may be charged fees accordingly and we will always communicate those charges as soon as possible.
*We will notify you as soon as possible if a skunk treatment will be done as we can detect the foul odor during the bathing process once the warm water opens up the hair follicles the smell permeates the room. Fee of $20 will be applied
We will notify you as soon as possible if we notice any flea discharge and/or fleas and are required to treat them to our all natural flea bath. A fee of $10 will apply
Confirmation Policy- If you do not confirm your appointment during the reminder time stated, your appointment may be cancelled and filled with someone on our waitlist. We will notify customers via text unless we have been told a call is needed instead.
Cancellation Policy- We understand life happens, this is why we do day before reminders for all scheduled appointments. ,Service can be refused if customer does not make contact and does not show up to their appointment. If you do not show up or make contact with us within a half hour of your scheduled appointment we reserve the right to fill that spot with another client on our waitlist.
If you are running late, Please communicate with us so we can make any adjustments to our schedule prior to your appointment. If you are 15 minutes or later we have the right to reschedule your appointment. If we can keep your appointment, there will be a fee of $5 per minute after the 15 minute window.
Pick up policy- We will notify you when your pup is ready via text. Please pick up your dog as soon as possible and communicate with us if you are running late. If your dog is still in our care after the time we have told you they would be ready we charge $5 per minute fee.
Remember, during this time this means we are caring for your pup while also grooming other dogs, providing fresh water, monitoring that they are safe, and cleaning up after them if they potty. This allows the environment to stay as stress free as possible and ensures each dog has our undivided care and attention during their time of service.
Oh crap! I forgot to ask for the ears short.... - No problem! We will fix it for you as long as you bring it to our attention as soon as you pick up your dog and within 24 hours of leaving the shop. While quality is one of our top priorities, we are human, so please be gentle on us, snap a photo of the problem area on your dog and text it to us within 24 hrs. Outside of that time frame, due to factors out of our control (rain, snow, mud, sticks & burrs, curly coats turning curly again, hair starts growing back, etc) we would have to schedule a new appointment and charge accordingly.
Inclement Weather- In case of severe weather we will notify you as soon as possible if we need to reschedule your appointment. We know we book out quickly so we will do our best to get your pup rescheduled as soon as possible. In that regard please do the same for us and let us know as soon as possible if the weather will affect your commute and you need to reschedule.
Yearly increase- We want to keep grooming affordable but do need to keep up with the economy. Starting January 1st of each year our prices will be raised $3-$5 for small dogs and $5-$10 for medium to larger dogs. Thank you for helping us provide the best possible services for our customers!
